This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit realestatemegamoms.com, join our newsletter, buy from us, book a consultation or use the Mega Moms Portal, and what we do with it. If anything here is unclear, email us at info@realestatemegamoms.com and we will gladly explain.
- We collect what we need to deliver what you ask for: our emails, your orders, your coaching and your Portal account.
- We never sell your personal information, and our website uses no analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time, and ask us to access, correct or delete your information.
Who we are
Real Estate Mega Moms is a coaching, education and community business for women in real estate, owned by Flor De Maria McNally. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Real Estate Mega Moms, and “you” means anyone who visits our sites, buys from us or uses our services.
This policy covers:
- our website, realestatemegamoms.com, including its order forms and free tools
- the Mega Moms Portal, our members area for courses, the 77 Hard challenge and member resources. It is currently at mega-moms-portal.web.app and will move to app.realestatemegamoms.com
- the emails we send, and the forms and checkout pages connected to them
Our mailing address is 8662 Cincinnati Dayton Road, West Chester, OH 45069, and you can reach us any time at info@realestatemegamoms.com.
Information we collect
Most of what we hold is information you give us directly. Here is what that looks like for each part of our business.
Newsletter signup
Your email address and first name. We use them to send you our newsletter and other marketing emails. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email, or choose what you receive on your email preferences page.
Signed book orders
When you order a signed copy of Stop Asking for Referrals ($39), we collect your name, company, email address, phone number, birthday and shipping address. We use these to fulfill and ship your order, send your confirmation and free bonuses, and stay in touch with you as part of our community. As the order form explains, if you include a mobile number we may text you about your bonuses and related freebies, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
The Magnetic Systems Build
When you enroll in The Magnetic Systems Build ($5,000), we collect your name, email address, phone number and the system you choose. After your purchase you complete a discovery form hosted by Tally, which asks about your business, your tools and your goals. We use your answers only to plan and deliver your build. During the build you may give us access to platforms you use, such as your CRM. We use that access only to build and test your system.
Consultations
Consultations ($99) are booked and paid through Calendly. Calendly collects your name, email address, booking details, any answers you add and your payment, under its own privacy policy, and shares your booking details with us so we can hold your session.
Mega Moms Portal accounts
When you create a Portal account, or one is created for you after a purchase, we collect your name, email address and password. Passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication, so we never see them. As you use the Portal we also store your profile photo if you add one, your course progress, your quiz answers, the assignment files you upload and our feedback on them, your 77 Hard challenge activity and your email preferences.
Portal forms
Some of our forms, such as sign-ups and applications, run in the Portal. Each one collects the fields it asks for and tells you what it is for. We may tag your contact record based on the forms you complete and the products you buy, so the information we send you stays relevant.
Messages you send us
When you email us, we keep your email address and your message so we can reply and help you.
Technical information
Like every website, our hosting provider receives basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. It is used to deliver our pages, keep them secure and fix problems. We don't use it to build a profile of you or follow you around the web.
How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- deliver what you ask for: ship your book, run your build, hold your consultation and give you access to the Portal and your courses
- take payments, apply promo codes, send receipts and keep accurate business records
- send service messages about your account, orders, courses and challenge activity. These aren't marketing, so they still reach you if you unsubscribe from marketing emails
- send our newsletter and marketing emails when you have signed up for them
- see which emails are useful, through open and click tracking, so we can improve what we send
- keep our website, Portal and community safe, and prevent fraud and misuse
- meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations
Emails and your choices
Marketing emails. Every newsletter and marketing email includes an unsubscribe link and our mailing address, as the US CAN-SPAM Act requires. You can unsubscribe in one click, or use your email preferences page to choose what you receive. We honor unsubscribe requests promptly, and we keep your address on a do-not-email list so you aren't added back by mistake.
Open and click tracking. We send email through Resend, which tells us whether an email was delivered and opened and which links were clicked. This works through a tiny image and tracked links inside the email. Open counts are approximate, because some email apps block or preload images. If you prefer, you can turn off automatic image loading in your email app and still read everything we send.
Service emails. Order confirmations, receipts, password resets and messages about your courses are part of the service, so you will receive them while you have an order or account with us.
Cookies and browser storage
Our website doesn't use analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- Session storage. The website uses your browser's session storage for small conveniences, such as keeping your place in an order form while you complete checkout, or remembering which state you picked on our mortgage-rates widget. It stays in your browser and clears when you close the tab.
- Staying signed in. The Portal keeps a sign-in token in your browser so you stay signed in. It is essential for the Portal to work.
- Embedded content. Some pages show content from other companies: the Calendly booking calendar on our consultation page, Stripe's secure payment form at checkout and the ERATE mortgage-rate widget on our Tools page. Our pages also load their typefaces from Google Fonts. When this content loads, those companies may receive technical information or set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.
Payments
Payments on our website and in the Portal are processed by Stripe. You enter your card details into Stripe's secure form and they go straight to Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe shares limited details with us, such as your name, email address, the amount, the date and whether the payment went through, so we can fulfill your order and keep records. Consultation payments are taken by Calendly.
If you use a promo code, we record it with your order. A code can reduce or waive the price. When a code covers the full price, the order is recorded at $0 and no card details are collected.
Who we share information with
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for targeted advertising. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only as much as they need to do that work:
Hosting for our website and the Portal, our database, sign-in (Firebase Authentication) and file storage, in the United States.
Payment processing for orders, courses and paid forms.
Email delivery, including open and click tracking.
Consultation booking and payment.
The discovery form for The Magnetic Systems Build.
The mortgage-rate widget embedded on our Tools page.
Some of these companies, such as Stripe and Calendly, also have their own relationship with you and their own privacy policies.
Facebook. We link to our Facebook page and the Mega Moms Facebook group. We don't run Facebook tracking, such as the Meta Pixel, on our website. When you join our group or follow our page, Facebook's privacy policy covers what you share there.
Other situations. We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect the rights, safety or property of our members, our business or others, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business. In a transfer, this policy would continue to apply to your information.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the reason we collected it: while your Portal account is open, while you are subscribed to our emails, and for as long as it takes to fulfill and support your orders. We keep order and payment records for as long as tax and accounting rules require. When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous.
If you unsubscribe, we keep your email address on our do-not-email list so we can respect your choice.
How we protect it
We use established providers with strong security. Information travels over encrypted connections, passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication, card details never touch our systems, and inside the Portal, member information is only available to our team. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password you don't use anywhere else, and tell us right away at info@realestatemegamoms.com if you think someone has accessed your account.
Your rights and choices
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy
- correct anything that is wrong. You can also update your name, photo and email preferences yourself under My Account in the Portal
- delete your account and personal information. We may keep what the law requires, such as order and tax records
- stop marketing emails, with the unsubscribe link in any email or on your preferences page
To make a request, email info@realestatemegamoms.com, ideally from the address you use with us, and tell us what you would like. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act, to protect your information. We aim to respond within 30 days, and always within the time the law allows. We will never treat you differently for using your privacy rights.
State privacy rights (California and others)
A growing number of US states, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas and Oregon, give residents specific rights over their personal information. Depending on where you live, and whether a law applies to a business of our size, these can include the right to know what we collect, to access, correct or delete it, to receive a portable copy, and to opt out of its sale, its use for targeted advertising and certain kinds of profiling.
Here is where we stand:
- We don't sell personal information, and we haven't in the past 12 months.
- We don't share personal information for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising.
- We don't use personal information for profiling that leads to legal or similarly significant decisions about you.
- We use sensitive information, such as your account password, only to provide our services.
Whether or not a particular state law applies to us, we are happy to honor requests to access, correct or delete your information. Email info@realestatemegamoms.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line. Someone you authorize in writing can also make a request for you. If we decline a request, we will explain why, and you can appeal by replying to our decision.
California residents can also ask about disclosures for direct marketing under California's “Shine the Light” law. We don't share personal information with other companies for their own direct marketing.
Children's privacy
Our website, the Portal and our services are for adults and aren't directed to children under 18. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Where we process information
We are based in Ohio, and we and our service providers store and process information in the United States. If you visit from outside the US, your information is transferred to and processed in the US, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.
Links to other websites
Our website, emails and Portal link to other sites, such as Facebook, Instagram, Calendly and Tally. Their privacy practices are their own, so please read their policies when you visit them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will also let members and subscribers know by email or in the Portal.
